the process
Each piece begins long before it hits the wheel. It starts with the line of a ridge, the weight of a beach pebble, or the memory of a receding tide. The landscapes of Sussex and Wester Ross are not mere inspiration; they are the blueprint.

The process is an act of translation. Clay is responsive, stubborn, and alive. It remembers pressure. In the studio, the wind and water of the coastlines are translated into form, allowing the natural irregularities of the earth to dictate the final silhouette.

Fire and glaze introduce the element of chance. We do not dictate the finish; we collaborate with it.
The final piece is a physical record of time, heat, and intent.
